Gold, silver, platinum, costume -- we can work on nearly any type of jewelry. Bring your item in and we will advise you on a plan of action that will get your jewelry out of the drawer and back on to you!
Please note: We need to be able to do a visual inspection of your broken item before we can make any kind of final repair plan or price. All pieces are unique and your final price may vary.
The types of repairs we can do depend on the material the item is made from. We'll identify the material when you bring it in, and some repairs may not work for all materials.
Broken chains: We can usually solder a chain back together if it has broken somewhere along the chain itself. Prices vary depending on the material the chain is made out of. Often these type of repairs can be done same-day if our jeweler is in.
Clasps or other hardware: Sometimes clasps come off, or the springs inside lose their springiness. Or you might just want a bigger one. We can do these repairs also. Prices will include a labor charge plus the cost of any parts we have to replace.
Shortening: Is your chain the wrong size? We can shorten it, and sometimes lengthen it. Come see us and we'll see what we can do.
Pendants: Bails wear out, stones fall out. Whatever it is we can fix it.
Tangles: More often than not we can untangle that chain that somehow turned into a bird's nest in your jewelry box.
Resizing: We can make your rings fit again, whether you need them to be bigger or smaller, in most cases. Things like the material of the ring, stones set in the ring, and the ring's design may affect the process, so please bring your ring in and we'll advise.
Broken shank: If the part of the ring that goes around your finger has broken, bring it in and see if we can put it back to working order.
Damaged prong: The prongs that hold in precious stones will wear over time, and can eventually break. Again, we can inspect them and see if they are secure.
Pearls, costume jewelry, even glasses -- we've probably seen it before. Don't just give up on it, bring it in and we'll try to help.
